Save Rangers Website & ORSA

E-mail Print PDF

ORSA supports the SaveRangers.com pledge website and asks that every supporter visit the page and makes their own personal pledge.  However, we also believe that the fans require a greater say on how the funds pledged will be spent.  The model of one majority shareholder has ultimately failed Rangers FC and a new business model with the club’s biggest investors - the fans - needs to happen now to ultimately secure the long term future of the club for future generations of supporters.

ORSA believes that the fans are wary of the power struggles that will take place through an investment from any consortium, even one with fan ownership and involvement at its core.  However there are a few things that we can demand from any consortium/fan ownership model and we ask that you take the time to complete the short form below to give us your thoughts.

This form doesn’t replace any pledge through SaveRangers.com but will be cross-referenced with the organisers of that website.  All information provided will only be used once there is a little more clarity about the best way forward for the club.

Only one person from the ORSA community will be asked to handle this sensitive information.  You can choose to enter your personal details or simply put your initials.

An email address or phone number though is compulsory.

If in future we contact you, we’ll simply ask if your pledge still stands.  You have the final say and nobody will think any less of you if for any personal, family or business reason that pledge cannot be fulfilled.  This is not the time for chest-beating or who’s the best and biggest Rangers supporter but a time for calm, reasoned and reliable information to be collated and put to good use.

We ask that all pledges match are realistic and immediately available if contacted.  For simplicity sake your pledge should be in Australian Dollars.

Please forward this onto bears in your RSC or network of contacts.

ORSA AGM Weekend Schedule of Events

E-mail Print PDF

Hello Hello & G'Day Down Under Bears,

Other events have overtaken the annoucement of the schedule of the AGM weekend events however I'm sure the timing of our event is probably the best thing that can happen to make us all remember why we follow follow with so much love and pride in our hearts.

A big thanks to the lads at Perth RSC who've done a sterling job in organising all the events.  The paid events of the golf and dinner dance are now officially sold out and it's a credit to their hard work and dedication that they've managed to do so.  Be sure to check out the Perth RSC Facebook for all the latest info and news!

The AGM weekend still has a business side and with recent events we'll also be asking for everyone who attends to give us their inputs on ways that we can all help the club.  Time to get the thinking caps on ladies and gents.

Looking forward to seeing you all in Perth and chewing the fat on all things red, white and blue!

Rangers FC Statement on Administration

E-mail Print PDF

The following link goes to the club's official statement on administration.

At this time, ORSA would like to say thanks to all our friends at Ibrox who've helped us through the years.  Sadly, the reality is that some of those people now may no longer be working at the club once the administration process kicks in.  This tragedy has an all too human face and points deductions, titles and what happens on Saturday on the pitch really need to be taken into perspective against the reality of people losing their jobs and facing up to loved ones with bad news that they've been made redundant. You're all in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
